In order to enter a university in Korea, you need to take the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) given by the National Institute for International Education.
The purpose of the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) is to provide directions for learning Korean to foreigners who are not native speakers of Korean language, measure their proficiency in Korean language, and use the results for studying abroad and employment.
* Your TOPIK level is determined by your test score.
* The requirements below are general standards.
Please contact each university for the TOPIK level required for exchange students, government-invited scholarship students, foreign government-supported scholarship students, students enrolled in Korean language training institutes, and students enrolled in arts and physical education departments.
* For more detailed information on the test schedule, visit the TOPIK website at the beginning of the year.
