Qualifications for application

Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK): The Korean government requires international students to possess a certain level of proficiency in Korean language.

In the case of applicants from countries where the public education system requires less than 12 years of education, admission may be granted if they completed all elementary and middle school courses in that country and the head of the university where they wish to enter is able to verify it through supporting documents such as graduation certificate.

      • - 2 years or more
  • Undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree
    • Qualifications for application
      • - Those who have completed all elementary and secondary education in their home country (12-year course)
    • Period of study
      • - 4 years or more
  • Associate degree
    • Qualifications for application
      • - Those who have completed all elementary and secondary education in their home country (12-year course)
    • Period of study
      • - 2~3 years
  • Language training
    • Qualifications for application
      • - Those with high school diploma or higher
    • Period of study
      • - 3 months ~ 1 year
  • Exchange student
    • Qualifications for application
      • - Those currently enrolled at a university that has a sister university relationship with the university where they wish to study abroad
    • Period of study
      • - 1 semester ~ 1 year
  • Short-term self-funded study abroad
    • Qualifications for application
      • - Study abroad at a Korean university by using your university's study abroad program, or as an international student/graduate from your home country's university.
    • Period of study
      • - 1 semester ~ 1 year
  • Foreigner season semester
    • Qualifications for application
      • - Foreign college students participating in Korean language and Korean studies-related programs during vacation periods
    • Period of study
      • - 2~3 months
